Alfred Vogt-Foundation for Research in Ophthalmology
In memoriam of his son who died in an accident, Alfred Vogt funded the Alfred Vogt-Foundation on June 17, 1938.The goal of the foundation is the advancement of research in Ophthalmology. To reach this goal, the foundation may yearly decorate the best scientific work in Ophthalmology and its border areas with the Alfred-Vogt Award.
